Carrot Recipe - Gajar Ka Halwa Recipe

Winter has passed and summer started, during winter i made gajar ka halwa many time but here are the pictures of perfect one. "Carrot Halwa Preparation" Ingredients: Carrot 1 kg Milk 2 cup Sugar 250gm Cardamom  Cashew-nut (Kaju) Almond (badam)  Take fresh carrot, clean and peel them. Grate it and add it in pressure cooker with milk, sugar and cardmom and khoya. After 20 minutes take a wide non stick pan add 2 teaspoon ghee and and some chopped kaju & badam and fry it than add the halwa. Garnish it!

Karonda (Carissa Carandas) Tangy Pickle | Karonda Achar

Make instant pickle with a simple recipe, mixing karonda with salt and red chilly powder and it gives mouth watering taste. Karonda is a berry sized fruit produced by Carissa  carandas  a flowering shrub. Benefits: This fruit includes rich iron components which benefit anemic patients. It gives comfort during diarrhea. It prevents excessive secretion of the liver to prevent biliousness. It purifies blood It helps digestion and constipation problems. It reduces fever because of its antipyretic attributes. It helps to optimize heart functions to prevent heart diseases.

Kheer Poori | Rice Kheer Recipe | Karanji recipe

Kheer Pooi or "Karanji recipe" is generally prepared on the special occasion of festival and marriage. Puri Ingredient: Maida flour Oil Puri Filling: Dry grated coconuts Sugar Kaju Badam Make a dough of maida flour adding with water & oil, knead the dough well till it becomes smooth. Then leave it 15 minutes, and make small equal dough balls & roll in long oval shape. Add filling dry grated coconut, sugar, Kaju & badam and seal the edges using little water. There are designs for closing so the filling will not come out. When all done fry it in oil till get lightly golden. Rice kheer Ingredients:  Rice  Milk Condensed Milk Cardamom Sugar  Soak rice for 30 minutes & cook it water as generally cook, then in non-stick pan add milk & cooked rice. Saute it for 5 minutes then add condensed milk, sugar & cardamom powder, overcooking the rice will give creamy layer. Garnish with pista

Tamarind - Jeeglli

I love tamarind, often I make jeegli of tamarind which is like a paste, a combination of sweet tangy taste. Benefits of Tamarind fruit: Tamarind fruit which has lots of dietary fibre and vitamin which helps to maintain good digestive system. Its sticky pulp contain gums, hemicelluloses, pectin. Tamarind is rich source of tartaric acid.  It is known for an good antioxide which protect human body from free radicals. Tamarinds has rich minerals such as copper, potassium, calcium, iron, selenium, zinc & magnesium. It controls heart rate, blood pressure and red blood cell production, human body needs 36% of everyday tamarind which gives vitamin A and vitamin C, folic acid.

Grated Cucumber Salad

Stay healthy with nice and simple salad. I love it with chapati and daal but its more tasty with udad daal papad, this salad can be a weekend relaxation good to maintain diet. Ingredients: Cucumber Carrot Onion Tomato Green chilies Coriander Green grams (soaked) Black Pepper Salt Very easy method to make this salad is grate the cucumber & carrot than chop the onion,tomato,coriander and green chilies. Mix all together than add soaked gram, salt & a pinch of black pepper powder.

Fried beef

In today's Sunday special I cooked simple basmati rice & fried beef, when I get bore of gravy salan, I simply fry marinated beef. It taste so good. It can cooked easily and instant tasty, people hardly think of this type dry recipe that too with green chilly, but I have given my twist.... Ingredients: For Marinating Beef Garlic Ginger Coriander Salt Lemon Oil Take as wish pieces of beef and mix with ginger,garlic & coriander paste. In Pressure cooker add oil than beef mixed with all paste than add salt and lemon juice. Add 1 glass of water and cook for 30 minutes. Ingredients: For Frying  Oil Small Onion 1 Tomato 4 Green chilies Coriander Take frying pan add 2 tablespoon oil, than add pre cooked beef in oil, fry it till getting little deep fried. Than take it out, keep aside. In 2 teaspoon oil add chopped onion, tomato & green chilies, cook for 5 minutes than add fried beef in it and cook for another 2 minutes, garnish it with coriander.

Basmati Rice with Kolhapuri Chicken

Here is my basmati rice with kolhapuri chicken.  Well, for the first time i have cooked it and chicken cooked for family because i never eat chicken but my family love my cooking which has different texture and delicious aroma. Cooking for our self is big thing, people cook it with excitement but sometime they don't like taste of their own dish, how it happen? they follow good recipes...thats why only cooking is not important but bringing a heart wining delicious taste to our dish is just making feel happy! Ingredient For Rice: Basmati Rice 1 kg Carrot 1 Green Peas half cup Ghee 1 table spoon Salt Method: Soak rice for 30 minutes than cook it with water & salt for 15 minutes than fry chopped carrot & green peas with ghee and mix it with rice. Garnish it with mint leaves or as wish. Ingredient For Kolhapuri chicken: Chicken  Garlic  Ginger Coriander Curd Onion 1 Tomato 2 Garam Masala Coconut  Oil Salt Lemon Red chi

Lemon Pickle

The season of winter, autumn & summer is good time for lemon pickle. From my school time i started making pickle with mom's recipe. Getting ready pickle at home is not very easy task do.  Many time we fail to making good pickle, whatever recipes we follow making our pickle tasty & good is difficult. So we need to take extra care and avoid getting fungus. Ingredient: Fresh Lemon Salt 1 Carrot 4 Green chilies Hing Mustard Turmeric Powder Garlic Jaggery Oil Method: Cut the lemon in desired shape. Mix it well with salt, hing & jaggery, green chilies, turmeric. Add it in glass bottle & leave it for at least 1 month but keep shaking it every week. After that give it tadka with oil, mustard seeds, garlic... It depend on wish to add carrot or karela (bitter gourd) Leave it in jar for another 15 days than pickle is ready.

Gobi Manchurian

This is one of my favorite starter i always prefer. I tried it cooking at home and its the best experience. In my last job i was going to lunch parties and Gobi Manchurian is the only starter i order all the time. Ingredients: A Cauliflower Corn flour 4 tablespoon Maida flour 2 tablespoon Black pepper powder 1 pinch Red chilies powder 2 tablespoon Turmeric half teaspoon Cooking color Salt Oil Ingredients:B Onion 1 Green chilly 1 Capsicum 1 Spring Onion Red chilies powder 1 teaspoon Tomato sauce 4 teaspoon Soy sauce 2 teaspoon  Oil Cabbage & coriander to garnish Cooking Method - A: Cut the cauliflower as wished size & boil it for 15 minutes & keep aside. Make batter of Corn flour,Maida,red chilies,black pepper,turmeric,salt and cooking color. Mix it well than add cauliflower in it and mix smoothly so all the pieces should get into the batter. Delicious Gulab Jamun

Here is Gulab Jamun i prepared for second time perfectly. Ingredients: MTR gulab jamun flour Milk 1 cup Ghee to fry Sugar for syrup Almond Method: Staring its seems quite easy but we have to mix the flour & milk properly,  Make sugar syrup with 1 cup sugar & 1 glass of water, cook it till get strings or sticky, can cook 20 minutes.  Mix the flour & milk, make dough than make small balls using ghee on palm as required size, Keep aside when all done. Take a non stick pan add ghee.  Wait till it get hot, once it get heat decrease the the fire than fry the jamun till it get golden brown and leave it in sugar syrup. Well i don't like it to serve hot so i keep the jamun in freezer for an hour, than it becomes little thick and really delicious i felt. Lastly garnish it with almonds.
