Puran Poli

Puran Poli is a flat bread stuffed with a sweet lentil filling made from chana dal and jaggery. Ingredients: Sweet Filling Mixture: 1 cup chana dal/skinned spilt bengal gram 1 cup powdered jaggery/gur 3 cups water for pressure cooking the chana dal 2 tsp ghee cardamom 1 tsp fennel powder/saunf Poli - Outer covering 2 cups maida  2 tsp oil or ghee salt as required water as required to knead the dough How to make? Bread Pakora

My Sundays special breakfast menu is added with ' bread pakora' an easy breakfast/evening snack. No stuffing required, dipped in gram flour with chopped onion, coriander, salt, and fry. Ingredients: Bread slice in triangle shape Besan Onion Coriander Gram masala Pepper powder Turmeric powder Salt Method: Cut the bread slice in triangle shape, make gram flour batter and mix chopped onion, coriander, garam masala, pepper powder, turmeric powder and salt. Dip the triangle shape bread slice in batter and fry. Serve hot with green chutney or tomato sauce.

Hariyali Samosa | Indian Vegetable Samosa Recipe

Here is hariyali samosa :) it was a mystery to know how to make samosa but now I got it so simple. I have not added beaten rice (poha) in it. Ingredients: Maida Flour (500 gm) Ajwain Ghee (2 tbs) Oil Potato 3 French Beans 1 cup Turmeric Green chilies Garam Masala Coriander Salt Lemon How To Make Samosa Prepare to stuff with boiled & mashed potato, chopped french beans, heat 2 tsp oil add turmeric, garam masala, chillies paste, lime juice, salt then mix mashed potato & beans. Cook for 2 minutes. Add Ghee, ajwain seeds & salt in maida flour knead it well then add water as required then add 2 tbs oil make a soft dough, leave it for an hour, I left for the whole night. Roll the dough into oval shape & cut it then make a cone. Press the edges well than stuff with potato & french beans filling and close the cone. It will look like in the image. Capsicum Masala

Today i'm writing about capsicum masala recipe in my delicious diary, it is very simple and spicy. Ingredient: Capsicum Onion Tomato Green Chilly Ginger Garlic Jeera Peanuts Oil Salt Coriander Turmeric Powder Cut the capsicum in small pieces. Fry it for 2 minutes. Fry the chopped onion, tomato, chilies for 1 minute and grind it. Than make paste of peanuts.                              In frying pan add oil & both paste than add tumeric powder, salt. After 5 minutes add capsicum pieces and cook for 15 minutes.

Carrot Recipe - Gajar Ka Halwa Recipe

Winter has passed and summer started, during winter i made gajar ka halwa many time but here are the pictures of perfect one. "Carrot Halwa Preparation" Ingredients: Carrot 1 kg Milk 2 cup Sugar 250gm Cardamom  Cashew-nut (Kaju) Almond (badam)  Take fresh carrot, clean and peel them. Grate it and add it in pressure cooker with milk, sugar and cardmom and khoya. After 20 minutes take a wide non stick pan add 2 teaspoon ghee and and some chopped kaju & badam and fry it than add the halwa. Garnish it!

Make instant pickle with a simple recipe, mixing karonda with salt and red chilly powder and it gives mouth watering taste. Kheer Poori | Rice Kheer Recipe | Karanji recipe

Kheer Pooi or "Karanji recipe" is generally prepared on the special occasion of festival and marriage. Puri Ingredient: Maida flour Oil Puri Filling: Dry grated coconuts Sugar Kaju Badam Make a dough of maida flour adding with water & oil, knead the dough well till it becomes smooth. Then leave it 15 minutes, and make small equal dough balls & roll in long oval shape. Add filling dry grated coconut, sugar, Kaju & badam and seal the edges using little water. There are designs for closing so the filling will not come out. When all done fry it in oil till get lightly golden. Rice kheer Ingredients:  Rice  Milk Condensed Milk Cardamom Sugar  Soak rice for 30 minutes & cook it water as generally cook, then in non-stick pan add milk & cooked rice. I love tamarind, often I make jeegli of tamarind which is like a paste, a combination of sweet tangy taste. Benefits of Tamarind fruit: Tamarind fruit which has lots of dietary fibre and vitamin which helps to maintain good digestive system. Its sticky pulp contain gums, hemicelluloses, pectin. Tamarind is rich source of tartaric acid.  It is known for an good antioxide which protect human body from free radicals. Tamarinds has rich minerals such as copper, potassium, calcium, iron, selenium, zinc & magnesium. It controls heart rate, blood pressure and red blood cell production, human body needs 36% of everyday tamarind which gives vitamin A and vitamin C, folic acid.
