Sheer Khurma Recipe

Sheer khurma or sheer khorma (Persian: شير خرما‎, is a celebration vermicelli pudding arranged by Muslims on Eid ul-Fitr and Eid al-Adha in Afghanistan, Pakistan, India and parts of Central Asia. It is a conventional Muslim merry breakfast,[a] and a dessert for festivities. This dish is made using different dry fruit products, vermicelli, thickened milk, sugar and so on. Depending upon the district, cardamom, pistachios, almonds, cloves, saffron, raisins, and rose water are additionally included.

This unique dish is served on the morning of Eid day in the family after the Eid prayer as breakfast, and for the duration of the day to all the meeting visitors. It is exceptionally well known all through the Indian Subcontinent and Central Asia.
