Poori is a famous breakfast recipe enjoyed all over India. It requires to roll the dough of chosen flour and fry deeply. It is eaten with tea or chana masala dish.





Well, I had a good and difficult experience of making poori. When I initially started making poori, it became very crispy like papad...oops papad like poori, I was hugely disappointed.
Then, I did so much research about the poori recipe and found the correct one.
It was a delighted movement when I made a fluffy yet crispy and soft poori.

Ingredients

  • Maida - Half cup
  • Wheat Flour - half cup
  • Ghree 2-teaspoon
  • Sugar (powdered or melted) 2- teaspoon
  • Slat half teaspoon
  • Oil for frying - 1 cup


Method

Take maida and wheat flour mix it well. Then add warm ghee and mix it with all flour. 
Add melted sugar and salt in the flour and make a soft dough. Then add 1 teaspoon oil.

Roll the dough flat.


Heat the oil and fry the poori.

If there is no hole in the poori dough, your poori will look like the image.

Trun back and let it cook.

Fry till it get golden.

Serve hot :)
