Wheat Flour Biscuits with Aashirvaad Atta

This is Aashirvaad fortified atta biscuits. These biscuits consist of important micronutrients like folic acid, iron, and vitamin B-12 that cover the micronutrient deficiency.

Ingredient

  • 1 cup Aashirvaad Atta
  • Half cup besan flour
  • Half cup castor sugar
  • Half cup Cooking oil
  • 1 tablespoon Ghee
  • Half teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • Half teaspoon vanilla essence

Method

Mix oil and castor sugar till sugar melt completely.

Then add besan flour, baking powder, salt, vanilla essence, and mix.

Now add Aashirvaad Atta in small portions and mix.

Then add ghee and kneed the mix slowly.

The dough should be thick and soft to make biscuits.

If the dough is dry then mix little cooking oil.

Take all dough and slowly roll like chapati and cut in round shape with help of cookie cutter or any bottle cap of biscuit size.

As I'm baking this without an oven, I have used an aluminum pan, added salt in the base, and kept a stand. Over stand put an aluminum plate and then apply some oil on a plate then place the biscuits.

Cover the pan so the heat generates and forms the right temperature.

Cook on a slow gas flame for 20 minutes.

The Aashirvaad Atta biscuits are ready and they are very tasty.
